Sue Scherer for State Representative

 

  • Lifelong Macon County resident
  • Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University
  • Master of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University
  • More than 30 years teaching in area schools
  • Fiscal conservative

Sue is not a politician. She is a wife, mother and educator who is concerned with Springfield’s apparent inability to solve the state’s problems. She wants to bring some “common sense” to the Legislature by working with members of both parties to improve public safety, strengthen our schools, restore fiscal balance, and create and retain jobs.

Sue knows the difficulty for families trying to make ends meet in tough times. After all, she and her husband Brad have had to do a lot of that raising four children to adulthood.
